Privacy Policy

Who we are

PL Digital (“we,” “us,” “our”) is a marketing and data consultancy. This site is operated by:

  • Data controller: PL Digital
  • Contact for privacy matters: dpa@pl-digital.com

What data we collect

Contact form submissions. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, company name, and the message you send us. This is used solely to respond to your enquiry.

Server and hosting logs. Our hosting provider (Hostinger) automatically logs standard technical data for security and operational purposes — IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. We do not access this data for marketing purposes.

Cookies. We use only strictly necessary cookies to run the site (e.g., remembering your cookie consent choice) unless you opt in to analytics cookies via the consent banner.

Google Analytics. If you accept analytics cookies via the consent banner, we use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate site usage — which pages are visited, how visitors found the site, and general traffic patterns. This is implemented via Google Site Kit with Google Consent Mode enabled, meaning Analytics does not set tracking cookies or send visit data to Google until you actively accept. You can withdraw this consent at any time by clearing your cookies and revisiting the banner, or by using your browser’s cookie settings. Data collected by Google Analytics is processed by Google Ireland Limited and may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States under Google’s standard contractual clauses. See Google’s Privacy Policy for details on how Google handles this data.

Google Search Console. We use Google Search Console to monitor how the site appears in Google Search results. This does not involve any tracking of individual visitors to this site — it only reflects aggregate data about search queries and rankings that Google already collects independently.

We do not use third-party font CDNs, advertising pixels, or social media tracking widgets on this site.

Legal basis for processing

  • Contact form data: processed based on your consent (submitting the form) and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
  • Analytics cookies (if accepted): processed based on your consent, given via the cookie banner.

Who we share data with

  • Hosting provider: Hostinger (hosts the website and server logs).
  • Email delivery: contact form submissions are sent via our hosting provider’s mail server to Dmitry and Mareks’s email addresses.
  • Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited): aggregate site usage data, only if you accept analytics cookies.
  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

How long we keep data

  • Contact form submissions: retained in our email inboxes for as long as reasonably needed to manage the relevant business relationship, or 12 months if no relationship develops, after which they are deleted.
  • Server logs: retained per our hosting provider’s standard retention policy.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Data portability
  • Withdraw consent at any time (this won’t affect processing done before withdrawal)
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at dpa@pl-digital.com. We’ll respond within one month as required by GDPR.
